'Be Still'

'Be Still'
'Be Still And Know That He is God'
Symbolism: The Dove is the Holy Spirit. The shadow of wings is the covering of His love. The seat is a place waiting for you to occupy it. The Lily in the pool is the purity of Jesus. The trees are the 'Mighty One's' who watch over you.

YOU ARE INVITED TO ENTER IN!

There is a place, a tranquil, still place right in God's heart. He invites you to come and sit awhile and meditate, listening for His still small voice. Over you are the wings of God, shadowing and covering your life as you sit on the seat prepared for you. The world around is full of trauma and confusion, but in the midst of it all you can find Him and gaze awhile on His beauty and experience His peace.

Turn Around!

It is painful to resist God. To pull against Him cause exhaustion and grief. Sometimes we are foolish! We think we know best and chaff against His leading. We pull one way and God is leading us another. We allow our natural mind, our own desires, our Christian ideas, to influence us. Human nature is strong, especially when we feel that we are right in any given situation. We may be right to our own mind, but not to God's. The simplest way to resolve the situation of aimlessly wandering around with no sense of purpose is to get right back to where you took the wrong turning.
Ask the Lord to show where you ignorantly went astray in your thinking or actions. You might need to change your plans, or take back something you said, or face in another direction. The gifts and calling of God in your life stay the same Rom 11:29 He has not changed His mind. He is merciful and you can return to the pathway intended for you.
I saw picture of someone walking down a road that led to a 'dead end' with a wall in front of them. They tried to get out by climbing over the wall but just wearied themselves. They had to turn around and go back the way they had come until they were out of it. And then begin again.
'Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you' Ps 32:9
