Imagine that you were pushing twins in a buggy. Both were screaming for your attention. They needed feeding. One was called faith and the other was called fear. You cannot feed them both at the same time as you only have one bottle of milk. Which one are you going to feed? The one that you feed will thrive and the other will weaken because it has no food!
Do you get the message? You have to keep your faith alive. Sing spiritual songs to yourself. Read the scriptures regularly. Choose to read books full of faith. Don't dwell on the confusion of the world you live in. Pray with other Christians.
Fear leads to darkness, despair, discouragement, despondancy, spiritual death. Fear always says 'no'. Fear finds excuses. Fear brings weakness. Fear hides!
Come out into the open. Risk your faith. God will be there to catch you. He won't let you fall if you totally trust Him. Take a step and He will meet you. Stretch your faith. Reach out, enlarge your tent (faith). Another word for growth is risk. Another word for faith is risk. Risk your all on the Lord. He is faithful.
